Overview
The DundiesTK is a Youtube channel dedicated to the fighting game, Tekken 7. The channel follows the adventure of 5 friends and their shenanigans navigating the competitive online rank mode. For this project, I worked closely with the creator of the channel, Yohan Sung.
Problem
Although niche, the Tekken 7 community is dedicated and passionate about the game. So how can the DundiesTK position themselves within the Tekken 7 scene and set themselves apart from other content creators and increase their sub and view count?
Opportunity
I created visual assets such as a logo, motion graphic, lower thirds, and video cards for the DundiesTK to use within their Youtube videos and Twitch streams.
Process
Although we had a lot of different concept goings, Yohan felt the fight-stick concept represented the DundiesTK’s love for fighting games.
Color test
The color scheme we chose reflected the fun and vibrant colors found at arcades, which is a place that many members of the DundiesTK hold dear to them since that’s where they first experienced their first fighting game.
End card and Lower 3rd
Endcard used at the end of their videos to promote their socials and other content. The lower 3rds were used during their intro to introduce each host of the Youtube channel.
